Ruby Red Fizz
4 oz (125 mL) Canada Dry Premium™ Light Tonic Water
1/4 cup (60 mL) sliced strawberries
1/2 oz (15 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 1/2 oz (45 mL) pomegranate juice
1 oz (30 mL) premium gin
1/2 oz (15 mL) rose simple syrup
Add strawberries and lemon juice to cocktail shaker; muddle to crush. Add pomegranate juice, gin and rose simple syrup. Fill with ice and shake until frosty.
Strain into chilled glass. Top with Canada Dry Premium™ Light Tonic Water. Garnish with rose petal.
To prepare rose simple syrup, combine 1 cup (250 mL) water and 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar in small saucepan over medium heat; bring to a boil. Lower to simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Pour in 1 tsp (5 mL) rose water. Store syrup in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for a larger crowd.
