Sparkling Berry Sinner

Fit for celebrating any holiday or special occasion, this eye-catching cocktail will impress all your guests.

 

4 oz (125 mL) Canada Dry Premium™ Light Tonic Water
12 blueberries, divided
3 raspberries
1 1/2 oz (45 mL) vodka
1 oz (30 mL) freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 oz (30 mL) simple syrup
1/4 oz (7 mL) absinthe
Ice

Thread cocktail skewer with 3 blueberries and raspberries; set aside.

To cocktail shaker, add remaining blueberries; muddle. Add vodka, lemon juice, simple syrup and absinthe. Fill with ice and shake until frosty.

Strain into ice-filled glass. Top with Canada Dry Premium™ Light Tonic Water. Garnish with berry skewer.

Tips:
For simple syrup, combine equal parts water and sugar in saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 5 minutes or until sugar dissolves. Remove from heat. Let cool completely and refrigerate until chilled, about an hour, before serving. Store any remainder in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

This recipe can be easily doubled or tripled for a larger crowd.
